This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!

So, I know, I disappeared off the face of the earth for quite a while there...a few months, I think? But fear not, I'm back!
Anyway, just thought I'd give anyone out there who cares a bit of an update on the recent happenings and such. It's been a rather hectic time, and not without a degree of personal difficulties and situations that have made for a very hard few months.
I regret to say the situation in regards to my course at university, which I know I mentioned briefly in my last journal, has deteriorated somewhat. Suffice to say I'm a poor uni student who wants to paint "stuff what looks like stuff", along with a small band of fellow revolutionaries, and it hasn't been well received. It has actually seemed to aggravate the already bitter relationships between two already warring departments. Uni politics...blah.
However, I am continuing with a "Picture of Dorian Gray" style project I set myself for this semester. Despite the overwhelmingly negative reaction of those assessing me, it's far too late to change, and the project is helping me overcome some anxiety and other mental health issues that have arisen of late. It's also become a matter of principle. Hopefully I can have these professionally photographed by the photo tech, as they are oil paintings, and put them up in the near foreseeable future. And as for next year, well, I'm surveying my options as to courses and career pathways.
But as this academic year draws to a close, you can expect to see a bit more of me. I have several projects in development, and am excited for the summer break so I can get to work on them. And also so I can have a break and slow down for a bit.
So, that's the latest from me. Catch ya next time, with hopefully a more positive scrap of news.
I am a Visual Arts student at LaTrobe University. I major in painting and drawing, with illustration as my elective (which this year I am enjoying far more than my major). Hopefully this page will prove to some people that I do more than sit around, drink coffee and pick fights with people when denied coffee.
I like history, op shops, second hand books and art that actually somewhat looks like stuff. Other than that I am a rather boring and often scatterbrained individual.
Anyway, if you are interested in my art...please let me know or something!!!
